0Walnut Garth is a self-catering holiday cottage set at the edge of Swinton village, yet close to an excellent selection of local amenities and attractions. Set in the heart of Ryedale and the Howardian Hills, this two bedroom bungalow is furnished to a high standard. It is tastefully decorated in a modern style with a host of features designed with your comfort in mind. With mobility M1 rating we offer a variety of aids to enable the less mobile visitor. We can accommodate guests who have occasional wheelchair use, however all door openings are not wide enough for those who require constant wheelchair use. The cottage is all on one level and we can provide grab rails, a hieght adjustable shower chair, raised toilet seat and more, for those who need that little bit of extra assistance. There are two small steps to access the cottage from the front door and a small threshold into it, meaning it can accommodate those with less severe disabilities.

Fowl Green Farm
0A traditional hill farm in the beautiful surroundings of the North York Moors national park provides 4 wheelchair accessible, fully equipped and adapted self catering cottages for disabled people and their families. Cottages sleep from one to 6 people and together can provide accommodation for up to 16 people. The farm stocks chickens, sheep, pigs and cattle. Centrally situated in an attractive ‘level’ village in the North York Moors National Park – with pub, duck pond and children’s play area all nearby – just 4 miles from the busy Market Town of Pickering.
