Highbank Farm is located in the semi-rural village of Hardhorn and close to the ancient market town of Poulton le Fylde. Swallow’s Nest
0The Johnson family have lived and worked at Broughton Mills for over 55 years, we are the second generation to manage this beef and sheep hill farm and have now diversified into luxury holiday self catering cottages allowing our guests to enjoy this tranquil, beautiful part of the Southern Lake District National Park. The accommodation has a ground floor bedroom with a wheelchair accessible ensuite shower room. The ground floor bedroom also has a king-sized bed.
The Willowfield
0Situated on The Promenade in picturesque Arnside, The Willowfield stands in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, enjoying spectacular views over the Kent Estuary towards the Lake District Fells. Our Premium ground floor room is suitable for guests who have limited mobility, and are not confined to a wheelchair. This is a spacious twin bedded room, with an ensuite bathroom. This has a lowered sink, grabrails at the toilet and at the bath/shower (over the bath). There are 10 additional bedrooms on the floors above.
We are close to RSPB Leighton Moss, and ½ mile away from the train station.

Glenthorne is a Victorian Country House set in one of the most beautiful and peaceful locations in Grasmere in the heart of the English Lake District.
There is accommodation for up to 46 people some in the main house and some in the annex, a building once used for stabling by William Wordsworth when he lived in the neighboring Allan Bank. A number of our ground floor rooms are suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Many of our guests return again and again to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the house and gardens, some to walk the fells or explore the Lake District,
Some to take part in the organized programme of events. All to enjoy the excellent food and hospitality provided at Glenthorne.

0Location: Haybergill, Cumbria is in the picturesque Upper Eden Valley; within the “North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” Breathtaking views wait within touching distance of the Lake District, Teesdale and the Yorkshire Dales. We have quick, direct access to the A1 and M6 motorways. Haybergill Centre offers disabled access to all areas on the ground level. The car parks are offroad, along a private drive directly off the A66 trunk road.
Wheelchair users can get from vehicles to the Centre along a level path where entrances into the Annexe have level or low level thresholds. The Centre’s bathrooms are designed with a non-slip wet floor system plus a Level Entry shower. All bathrooms are fully accessible (grab rails and room for transferring.) Bedrooms facilitate a maximum of 12 – 7 on the ground floor consisting of 6 Very Homely furnished bedrooms, all with en-suite toilet & level access showers & T.V. 5 Upstairs bedrooms open out onto a beautiful veranda enabling views over the Lawn and the woodland beyond. The Annex has a spacious Living room downstairs (with easy chairs.) Suitable for working, relaxing or as an extra bedroom.
