Haybergill Centre Accessibility
Location: Haybergill, Cumbria is in the picturesque Upper Eden Valley; within the “North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” Breathtaking views wait within touching distance of the Lake District, Teesdale and the Yorkshire Dales. We have quick, direct access to the A1 and M6 motorways. Haybergill Centre offers disabled access to all areas on the ground level. The car parks are offroad, along a private drive directly off the A66 trunk road.
Wheelchair users can get from vehicles to the Centre along a level path where entrances into the Annexe have level or low level thresholds. The Centre’s bathrooms are designed with a non-slip wet floor system plus a Level Entry shower. All bathrooms are fully accessible (grab rails and room for transferring.) Bedrooms facilitate a maximum of 12 – 7 on the ground floor consisting of 6 Very Homely furnished bedrooms, all with en-suite toilet & level access showers & T.V. 5 Upstairs bedrooms open out onto a beautiful veranda enabling views over the Lawn and the woodland beyond. The Annex has a spacious Living room downstairs (with easy chairs.) Suitable for working, relaxing or as an extra bedroom.

Drumcroy Lodges
Aberfeldy sits almost exactly in the centre of Scotland. The local area can boast Perthshire’s highest mountain; Scotland’s longest river; and longest glen.
The spacious, comfortable, well equipped lodges are all on one level. Each of the lodges has one double room with en-suite shower facilities and a twin room with a separate bathroom. There is also a double sofa bed in the living area if required. The kitchens are well equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. The spacious open plan living room includes a three piece suite, TV, video and CD player with adjacent dining area. This opens out onto a deck and garden with a picnic bench and barbecue. There is a drying room and bike shed available to all guests. Guests are supplied with all bed linen and towels. Electricity is to be paid for at cost price by meter reading.

Honeypin
Honeypin is a bright, open-planned addition to the cottages, and is a single storey conversion providing easy accessibility. Created from the original stone and slate wagon house, Honeypin is bright and spacious, and unlike the other cottages, its accommodation is on a single level. Specifically designed for visitors with limited mobility and wheelchair users and has been awarded National Accessibile Scheme-Mobility Level 2.

Muirlaggan
Muirlaggan offers a tranquil setting in Balquhidder at the heart of the Scottish highlands. Designed to accommodate a wheelchair, Stable cottage has one twin bedroom, one double bedroom, and a large combined kitchen/diner and living room. The shower room and toilet also has a large turning area with easy transfer to the toilet and the shower floor is flat. Handrails are fixed by the toilet and in the shower area and I have a shower stool or chair and a raised toilet seat available for guests. These facilities have been used by a number of wheelchair users and feedback has been positive. one double bedroom and a large kitchen/diner and living room. The double bed is low enough to slide from a wheelchair to the bed and the turning area is generous.
